Flat hunting in America is pretty much the same as in the UK, except that the buildings are all called different things and you have to walk twice as far between them. Tony and I now have peachy little bottoms from all the trekking up and down hills!

Living in America!

Wow. We're here and we're doing it! The sun is shining, we've been riding round on our bikes finding a place to live, we've seen America's Got Talent hopefuls lining up, some crazy people, sea, mountains...It's been a whirlwind.
We had a good flight and arrived safely with all our baggage intact. The immigration guards were great and didn't even open one of our bags. I did cause problems in Heathrow though by trying to take pictures at the security gates.
On arrival we were greeted by the ever-cheery Eric who had brought the most amazing vehicle. I will put a picture on later. Words cannot describe our happiness!
We got right into the swing on Wednesday by setting up bank accounts and buying mobile phones. Now we exist.
Today is sunny and hopefully we'll get to see Mount Rainier for the first time. It is also Lily the dog's birthday. Im going to bake her a cake. Woof.
We will upload some pictures and write a little more eloquently in the next few days. Just wanted you to know we arrived safe and sound. x
